Name: Aaron Taylor, Xochipilli Pisses Into The Wind
Canon: Werewolf: The Apocalypse
Race: (Nuwisha) Werecoyote
Totem: Xochipilli
Age: 19 years old.

Appearance:
Normally he just looks like a teenager. He has thick brown hair and brown eyes. He stands at 5 feet 10 inches and has a lean build. More wiry than strong. He gets a little bigger and slightly older looking in his other forms. He tends to dress up in whatever is the cheaper end of trendy in the area he is in. Otherwise, Aaron wears jeans and t-shirts.

Home Setting:
World of Darkness, New Jersey in the United States. It is like normal Earth, only with monsters and other forces working in the shadows. To Aaron, there are two types of reality, the physical world and the spiritual world which influence each other. There is a hierarchy to the forces of reality. Three major ones are The Wyld, The Weaver and The Wyrm. The Wyld creates, The Weaver gives creation consistent form, and The Wyrm destroys and kills to make room for new creations.

In modern day, The Wyld is weakened, The Weaver has too much power and control, and The Wyrm has gone mad. The Wyrm is on course to devour and destroy everything and the forces of The Wyld are weakened to the point that there doesn't seem to be much hope. Changers like Aaron had roles to keep the balance of the spirit of the world, Gaia, though now it is probably too late.
--------------
Aaron's life was full of bad luck, from before he was born on April 12, 1981 in northern New Jersey, until his calling found him.

His life seemed like one big joke, though Aaron never found it worth laughing about at the time. His mother was the youngest daughter of a more than well off family. She felt like she was too stifled in this life and rebelled. Deciding to date men her father wouldn't approve of just to spite the rules placed upon her. In the end this got her pregnant at 17 to a man she wouldn't name and no one could quite remember ever meeting. It was a huge scandal for her father and her family. It became something her father would have loved to be able to bury and no one to talk about.

So Aaron's conception lead to a lot of strife in the family and his would be mother. She didn't have to deal with the disapproval for long as died during childbirth due to complications. After some consideration into the fate of the child his mother's oldest sister, Elizabeth, and her husband took him in. They would raise the bastard and take over the shame his mother left behind. Even as a baby Aaron obviously did not belong. His mother, aunt, and most of the family had blond hair and hazel or blue eyes. Aaron had dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Elizabeth had two children of her own, twins named Samantha and Samuel. They were a wicked pair who were 3 years older than Aaron and loved to torment him as they grew up together. They picked up on the taboo subject of his existence and made his life miserable for it. It wasn't hard for them to find out about, as his aunt and uncle sometimes argued loudly on the topic of his illegitimacy. Enough so that by the age of 10 Aaron had figured out what a bastard was and just what that meant for him.

Over those ten years, random accidents and minor incidents made life less than enjoyable. On top of the bullying, he ended up with many broken bones in his short life time due to accidents and things that couldn't even be attributed to the bullying he received. Though his aunt and uncle got many questions about this, no proof of foul play was discovered. Aaron did recover quickly each time and became a bit tougher of a kid because of it. He also grew faster than most in his family at his age. At the age of ten was already as tall as his thirteen year old cousins.

It wasn't even a month after his 10th birthday that the bad luck that plagued him decided to add to the misery in his family. The twins noticed how fond he was of a toy he had gotten from their parents on that birthday. It was a wind up clock with Disney characters on it. It also looked easily breakable and Aaron was determined to not let this toy meet the fate of most fragile things he owned. The twins stole the toy and decided to play keep away. Aaron grew more fearful for the fate of his toy and angrier at his cousins with each throw. Finally after one of the two named Samuel tossed it, Aaron gave him a hard shove to put this game of keep away to an end.

Samuel did not fall over right away like Aaron hoped. Instead he stumbled backwards, tripped over a stick and rolled across the side walk and off the curb. Samuel got to his hands and knees just in time for a car to come speeding by. The driver was not paying enough attention and Samuel did not survive the accident. Aaron froze up witnessed the horrific scene and did not look away until his heart broken and furious uncle dragged him back.

The incident was determined to be an accident, like many of the events in Aaron's life. Still, Aaron received emotional attacks from his aunt and uncle until finally they decided they wanted to give him up for adoption about a month later, citing stress from the loss for their inability to care for him. A cousin of Aaron's aunt offered to take the child in and officially adopt him. The man was a childhood friend of his mother's and had periodically checked in on the family since the incident of Aaron's birth.

Aaron much preferred his new life after this. The man named Joseph Mallory had a wife Trisha, but no kids of their own. They had wanted one even though they were incapable of having them. Joseph and Trisha were very kind and generally pleased to have the boy. Aaron was not yet aware of the curse that followed him. His happiness lasted only a short time as Trisha died of a stroke less than a year after they adopted Aaron.

Joseph took it hard, but stayed strong for Aaron's sake. Joseph ran a local car shop and let Aaron stay with him while he worked, letting him learn the trade. When Aaron turned 15 he was hired on officially. The person who ran things when Joseph was away was Kyle Turner. A goofy man who took time babysitting Aaron when he was younger to help out Joseph during those years.

Aaron didn't have many real friends. He would hang out with people and many students could say he was the friendly guy from their class, but no one really knew too much about him. They could say what he did but could not tell you much about who he was. Aaron kept his distance even when he deep down wanted to be part of the fun he saw others having.

After Aaron turned 16, two more major events happened to shape his life. The first of which was his change. Aaron was prone to getting picked on and beat up at school due to the distance he tried to keep and being perceived as a loner. One day a few guys from school decided to follow Aaron on his way home with plans to give him the beating of his life before he ever made it. When the time was right they ran after him, chasing Aaron and trying to corner him. Aaron was afraid and ran as hard as he could. With his adrenaline pumping, the fear drove him to run faster than he ever had before. At the peak of his flight he even blacked out.

Aaron came too an hour later behind a vacant lot, thankfully alone. He tried to push himself up to stand when he realized he didn't have arms! In front of him were two scruffy-furred paws and legs he wasn't quite sure how to use. Aaron freaked out and tried to leap back from his own paws, "changing" back into a person and finding himself sitting naked in the lot. After a few more awkward accidents of a similar nature, Aaron began to catch on to the triggers that changed him. It still wasn't perfect, but it seemed to come easy to him. With the help of a few [animal picture books, and a standing mirror, he figured out that he was turning into a coyote. Sometimes, though, he changed into something slightly larger than the coyote. This looked closer to a wolf in size, but he had a hard time placing why it didn't fit. The transformation was strange enough and came to him easily. From the point he discovered his ability to change, his dreams began to be plagued with the sound of mocking laughter.

It wasn't until a week before his 17th birthday that something brought the rest of his change to light. Joseph was closing the shop alone one night. On the way out after turning off the lights he tripped over an oil pail. Joseph cracked his head open on the ground and bled to death before anyone found him there. Aaron ran away when he received the news from Kyle, and stayed away for several days. He spent his birthday out in the open, alone in the rain. It was that anger, sadness and confusion that caused Aaron changed again. This time he changed into to something that stood on two legs. Aaron turned into a thing with fur, claws and canine like teeth. It is also where he learned to fully control it. With this control, the laughter that plagued his dreams finally ended as well.

Aaron was a werecoyote. With practice over the next few months he learned that "the change" actually had a few stages. He learned, as well, that he recovered from injury faster than normal under special conditions. Though, that quickly led to the discovery that he was not, in fact, invincible. While experimenting with his new physical abilities, he under estimated the distance over a ravine. The fall hurt like he couldn't believe and left him with many broken bones. It took him a bit to recover from that but in the end he came home without a scratch to show for it. Aaron began to spend part time working to help Kyle maintain the shop and spend the majority of his free time avoiding school and testing out his new ability. He left the shop and his home town when he turned 18.

The same night of his birthday and the same night Aaron left, Coyote came to him. The manifestation of the great trickster spirit showed him a glimpse of the truth of this world and gave him a direction. Aaron had planned to just wander the country and let life take him where it would. He did consider he might be going insane, but there was little he could do about that if it was true. So, with a strange goal and far too much curiosity for his own good, he set off to see what fate had in store for him. He did not get his hopes up as it never treated him kindly in the past.

It was at his destination that he met his short time mentor. Another like him that called himself "Raven's Folly", or "Folly" for short. Under the tutelage of Folly, Aaron learned how to connect to the spiritual world around him and understand the truths he had been shown. He gained "gifts" of power and eventually swore to follow the path of the totem spirit, Xochipilli. After this, Folly and Aaron went their separate ways. Aaron took up the task of seeking out enemies of the spirit of Coyote with the hope that he'd figure out how to stop them when he met them.

((For now I am taking him from here, after he learned of the world around him but before he really tested himself against the worse things out there.))

Personality:
Aaron started life as a friendly kid and even the hardships in his life did not totally drill that out of him. He usually decides to greet strangers with a friendly smile rather than the cold shoulder. Still, he seems to avoid any long or meaningful connection with people. Friendly small talk won't likely lead to long term friendships with him. Most people who meet him can expect lot of jokes and attempts to find humor in the worse situations as well.

He knows that his duty requires him to take on dangerous tasks and is far too aware of the Wyrm's influence of the world to just ignore it. He also has a lingering fear from his past of his bad luck catching up to anyone he keeps around for too long. A loner by trade and choice, his friendly nature helps him pass into and out of people's lives with little conflict when he wants to. He figures people are less likely to research or look into a friendly stranger than they are someone they don't like. Unfortunately, his budding sense of humor doesn't always help him avoid some peoples' bad side.

Aaron travels a lot, so he works hard to assimilate the general habits of those around him. Aaron tries to blend in to any setting he finds himself in and practices copying others on his free time. His ID may place him in Jersey, but he works to shed any habits and accents from his home. In general, Aaron tries to avoid specifics someone can use to place him if he can. In “normal” settings, he acts like he's always been around or is just returning from a long trip away.

When it comes to things on the wrong side of his life style, he tends to be a little crueler. Aaron prefers to taunt and tease, or sometimes even threaten, those that are likely to be his enemy. Prank the Wyrm is part of his new Litany (set or rules set by Coyote himself) and he is testing out his new role. He knows this is dangerous, but the danger is what draws him the most. Xochipilli was both a direction and a choice for him, and he follows the totem well. Of course, he has his own talents for escaping danger if it does arise, but he'll still test his limits with his enemies. His curiosity doesn't help here, as each new threat is something new to learn about.

Aaron thinks he is a lot funnier than he actually is. He has yet to learn that this could get him in trouble if he cracks the wrong joke at the wrong person. His choice to follow Xochipilli means that even if he does get in trouble for it, he probably won't stop. Deep down, he enjoys the thrill of danger and the potential escalation to violence. Still, he knows he should try and keep on the good side of those he's not actively working against.

In the end, Aaron is coming into himself for the first time in his life. Before this it was different families, different morals, and different hopes with each change. Now he has no home, no family to return to and nothing to go back to. He also has nothing to lose. Everything he accomplishes is another mark on the world that he never thought he'd make. A world in which he had once feared his purpose was to erase the things he cared about from it. Even if he doesn't do much, it's still something, and maybe that will be enough. For once in his life, he has hope.

Powers/Talents:
- Werecoyote (metamorph): He can change, fluidly, between five forms.
>> Homid - Human. His most natural form (his breed form).
>> Titsu - A step between werecoyote and Human. Aaron is a couple inches taller as well as a little stronger in build. He's a bit more rough around the edges in this stage and fakes being a little older
>> Manabozho - Werecoyote. He stands seven and a half feet tall in this form. In this form he is far more resilient to injury than normal.
>> Sendeh - A step between werecoyote and coyote. Larger than a coyote and able to mimic human sounds.
>> Latrani - Full coyote.

-Rapid Regeneration (Some wounds take days, others minutes. Missing parts sometimes grow back though full limbs are far less likely.)

-Half physical, half spirit: He can step between the physical world and the spiritual world. He can also touch and see spiritual entities. He can push through the boundaries of different worlds. (No arguments about nerfing this one.)

-Xochipilli usually grants life saving luck when those that follow take serious risks. Life saving doesn't mean limb saving. Often the Nuwisha doesn't come out okay. Followers must never turn down dares in return.

-Gifts: Spiritual powers granted to him.
>>Xochipilli's Touch - Grants bad or good luck to self or others.
>>Spirit Speech - The ability to speak to and understand spirits.
>>Blur of the Milky Eye - Aaron becomes a shimmering blur that goes unnoticed by sight until something penetrates the illusion.
>>Scent of Running Water - Erases Aaron's scent completely.
>>Master of Fire - Allows him to regenerate burns as if they were minor bruises. Does not make him immune to fire.

-Rites: Mystic Rituals of Note
>>Questing Stone – Points in the direction of a person or object he knows the name of.
>>Binding – Can bind a spirit to an object temporarily to do one task.
>>Talisman Dedication – Binds an object to him that will change size or meld in to him depending on his form. (Clothes vanish when a coyote but return in place when he is a person, ect).

Items of Note:
Coyote's Fang - A large, curved dagger that is actually made out of Coyote's Fang. In the hands of anyone else, it's sharp and cuts well. In the hands of a Nuwisha it cuts with supernatural power that leaves defense piercing, hard to heal wounds. It can strike both physical objects and spirits. It can strike both the real world and the spirit world simultaneously.
