Dear Santa,

Please do not give me anything at all. I like it here and want to keep my friends.

If I can get nothing I promise to do whatever it takes. Even if it means doing what the Mayor and Grady asked me to... I don't want to, but I will.

Oh yeah, the secret. I'm working with other kids around my age as a sort of secret group. I can't tell people really who aren't a part of it and we are only allowing boys our age so we can fake it as a basketball team."
