7th Joke - At Least Someone Is Laughing [Action | Multi]

[[Aaron has been laying low since the little note incident. Though even that worry was shelved in light of a few new problems.

First his drone sister gave him his Christmas gift. It was a picture of two little kids. Fraternal twins, a brother and sister. Aaron is not pleased with this gift but tucks it away in a journal he bought for himself. He'll spend a day in his room calling out of school sick.

Second issue came after he got a card in the mail. All it said was, "Ha, ha, ha!" Since then Aaron hasn't slept well. That would explain the bags under his eyes and drifting off during the day at least.

Of course third was Percy. He went to visit him and found him acting strange. People had told Aaron about droning but this was his first real experience that hit home.]]

A)
[[Aaron is awake anyways. Before the sun rises he is out delivering gifts. Certain people will find little wrapped presents that say "From: Aaron" on them. Merry Belated X-mas miss_enma_ai, dodo_master, evers_hacker, hungry_monster, generose, and doastheromansdo!]]

B)
[[Aaron goes to class. He'll probably fall asleep in several of his classes at some point. Any student feel nice enough to wake him up before the teacher catches him? Any teachers notice?]]

[[He doesn't stick around between classes to hang out like he usually would. He heads straight for his next class and tries to keep conversations short.]]

D)
[[Aaron is at work at the bowling alley. Every now and then he'd find a place to hide and try to just rest his eyes a moment. Not even five minutes later he'll awake with a start and get back to work. He seems far too stressed out for this job.]]

E)
[[Aaron is stalking Percy Jackson. Not approaching him, just watching him and unsure what to do. Just kind of hoping Percy will snap out of this and everything will go back to how it was.]]

F)
[[Aaron is out at night trying to do anything other than stopping and falling asleep. He'll be jogging down the streets, exploring the park, and generally keeping mobile for as long as he can before having to give up and return home.]]

That's good--we need all the help we can get.

I mean, if I'd gotten one of my powers back we might've been able to consider something offensive, but for the time being I think Percy's plan of gathering information should do.

Well, ah, my dad's Jupiter, the god of the sky and lighting. So basically stuff like that. Summoning lighting bolts, manipulating the winds...even flying. I had this really cool storm stallion before, too.

But it's all gone now.

Um...yeah. But that's kinda how it goes for a lot of kids, where I'm from. Demigods, they call us. Percy was one, too.

Um...sure. I mean, sometimes. Mostly it's just a lot of trouble and gets you into kind of sucky situations where goddesses steal your memories and drop you down in the Grand Canyon.

Gods don't really help their kids out that much. At least, the Romans don't. And he's busy...ruling Olympus or whatever. Juno says it's all for a greater purpose, so I guess I have to be content with that.

Well, I'm not quite normal either I guess. Actually, I haven't told many people this one.

Oh. That makes sense, I guess. That's pretty cool--I've only ever met werewolves, before, but they weren't that nice.

I've never met another before coming here. I don't know much about it, I've only been one for about a year. I don't think it makes me any meaner than I am now."

You're definitely not mean, from what I've seen. But then, I don't think what you can do really defines how you are.

Some of it is kinda fun, isn't it? I mean, I don't really remember that much about back home, but it's definitely easier to talk to people here than it was there.

"Yeah, back home was pretty bad actually. I never really had real friends back then.

I'm kinda planning on not going home when we find a way out and follow another friend out instead."

It's kind of a long story. But basically I wasn't at home before I came here--my friend Leo was building a flying boat to take us from NYC to California, because that's where I'm really from. And then we have to go to Greece.

...I kinda wonder what's going on there, without me, sometimes.
