I was hoping for volunteers to deliver pamphlets to mail boxes on their street. Not everyone who comes in is friendly or safe to approach it seems so this might be the safest way to do this. I don't have many left, but I plan to get more.

They are the "authority figures." But, I suppose if people are misunderstanding I guess I can take a look at the wording.

I can replicate almost anything! I haven't tried life forms in this particular machine; I built it when I was a child, so it may not have that capacity. But a stack of papers is trivial.

I have no idea; I gave them to him, and after that I didn't hear anything else. I don't know why they would have vanished; they weren't items from his world.

Tell me what you find; if they're going unused, I'd like them back. Alternately, they may be in the Smith household, in which case you'll find the receivers but not the transmitters. In either case, I want to stay informed.

It's... one of them is fontech, and I want that one back. You'll know it when you see it; the transmitter is in a stuffed animal and the receiver is marked appropriately.

"I've kind of hit a dead end on one of my projects. I need to build a small engine... like for a go kart."

"Car engines are too heavy and powerful. I haven't seen much else around here that I could use. I'd try building it from scratch but that might be a little dangerous if I get it wrong. I'm more used to following designs than creating new things."
