There are vampires in this town, but they should be able to live off of drinking from drones, easily differentiable from actual people. ...Were you attacked?

Then you were. How are you feeling, other that possibly a bit light-headed from blood loss? If it's just that, then at least it should be easily recoverable from.

Only under specific circumstances, depending on the sort of vampire that bit you. If the one who attacked you knows what's best for him, however, he would not dare try to turn someone else in this town. Chances also are that even if that happens, the victim will revert back to normal once they are killed again, so either way, doing that would be to no one's advantage.

I'm not sure about that, though I would imagine that things like this have happened before. Can you please describe the man to me with as much detail as you can, if possible?

The first week I was here, people were losing body parts in exchange for stuff they used to have at home.

They didn't tell anyone. They did this cereal box top promotion thing. You collect so many and you can get back some of your stuff. But the 'processing fee' turned out to be body parts. They just disappeared right off people when they went to the post office to turn things in. I lost one of my eyes, and a lot of other people had it even worse.
